Snapshot
Mobile content usage for US, EU5 (UK, Germany, Spain, Italy, France) and Canadian mobile users mostly consists of sending text messages and taking photos, by a majority of users in each region. A majority of mobile users in Japan on the other hand take photos and use their email on these devices. Aside from texting, taking photos, accessing social networking/blog content, the weather and email, less than third of all mobile users engage in other mobile content (i.e. playing games, searching, etc). Similar results were found in the EU5 and Canada, but in Japan less than a quarter of users engage in other mobile content, aside from texting, taking photos, email, weather and searching.
